The Jan/Feb 2008 Positive Thinking Magazine (published by the Peale
Center for Positive Thinking), listed the following top ten New Years resolutions.
The resolutions are based on a survey of 300,000 Americans by Gary Ryan Blair, founder of The GoalsGuy Learning Systems.
1. Lose weight and get in shape
2. Stick to a budget
3. Debt reduction
4. Enjoy more quality time with family and friends
5. Find soul mate
6. Quit smoking
7. Find a better job
8. Learn something new
9. Volunteer and help others
10. Get organized
Another survey found that 71% of men and 57% of women stick with their goals. One way of staying consistent with your goals is by creating accountability. Buddy up with a friend, family member, or a coach if you're serious about keeping your resolutions!
